First post, name is Don, spent many months lurking and learning here. Have an Ultra Duo that I originally ordered last year and I got it a couple of months ago. This is my first EBike. Still have a Cannondale touring bike I used to ride many years ago. Wish my Ultra weighed what the Cannondale does. Used to ride Harleys for years but a bad accident a few years ago changed all that. Elbow was smashed as was my right knee. Docs rebuilt my elbow to be functIonal but has less than 100% range of motion. Knee required a full knee replacement. It works OK, but when you have a crushed knee and the docs go in to add hardware to a jigsaw puzzle, what was a planned 3 hour surgery turned into an 8 hour surgery. Thankful to still be walking and talking. Helmets save lives. The Ultra really helps me by removing some pressure off my knee with PAS ability. Like exploring around and going places I’ve never been to before in my car. Do all my own maintenance, have my pilots license and A&P too, along with an experimental airplane in the garage. Recently retired but not yet 60. Worked over 30 years in the aircraft industry as a Manufacturing Engineer supplying large end item products to Boeing.

Welcome @Pulsar! You will have a lot to contribute here. Please share some photos not just of the bikes but of the plane too. There is one guy who has a Montague folder that he converted to electric to take on his plane. It solves the last mile problem when he lands in a new town. Keeping that knee moving is important. I am glad you found eBikes. Here is one of my bikes that I made electric and am selling within the hour.
