Hey everyone , I wanted to post this here for more visibility.

I am the owner of Watt Wagons, and here is a quick list of updates we have put in on our bikes moving forward.

1. Bell has been upgraded to the amazing Spurcycle bell!
2. Rims have been upgraded to the Velocity Blunt 35 rims. This makes the ride even more comfortable than before.
3. Handlebars have been upgraded to the Surly Moloko. Has better sweep and more riding positions.

For all orders placed between now and end of November (Thanksgiving promo), I am including a spare set of Ice Spiker Pro tires at no cost. These will be $150 starting December 1st. Just a little encouragement to get everyone to ride in the winter! :)

I am planning a substantial upgrade to the site - but wanted to give everyone a heads up about upgrades already incorporated for orders starting today.

Please feel free to comment if you have any questions.

Mods, if this is not the right spot for this post, please move it appropriately.

Does this mean that those of us who were promised the upgraded cranks months ago will finally be receiving them?

The cranks took a lot longer, so for the existing customers (and you) I upgraded to the Spurcycle bell instead. :)

So much for keeping promises.

@Feliz

The cranks are not a free upgrade for regular bikes moving forward. At the time of purchase, I was transparent in telling you what I thought the cranks could be worth (~$50). As I dug deeper, I mentioned to you that there were a ton of problems in getting the crank designs done and there was a point in Mid-september where I had no confidence that I would be able to pull this off in 2019. That is when I then shipped you an equivalent value part ( $50 spurcycle bell) at no cost. Not only to you, but to every single purchase since, without actively advertising anywhere! That is how I run my business. I put customer happiness first.

I have made the best effort possible to make my customers whole based on the value of the components I had promised at the time of sale. There have been many instances where I have gone above and beyond on the sale to make customers happy. There are a lot of people here who can attest to that, yourself included.

Turns out the cranks are a lot more expensive because of the way Bafang has set up the spiders (more in a video soon). I cannot provide them at the price I thought they would be.

If you are not satisfied with the bell, please return it. I can offer you the cranks if you are ok with paying for the difference in value of the bell / cranks.

The cranks are probably irrelevant to me, it's just that to me a promise is a commitment. My WW is stored with my other bikes in a rented storage space, due to my motor and transmission issues which I haven't got around to dealing with yet the WW is slowly moving to the back of the shed probably never to be ridden again. Your explanation of the cranks was confusing to me, money was never mentioned when you promised all purchasers of the bike up to a certain date a free ( as a gift ) Miranda cranks, at the time you never mentioned any stipulations to the offer.

I haven't mounted the bell and have no intention of doing so, if you need it you can have it for the cost of postage.

Okay, I was promised cranks, sent a bell instead, now you want me to pay for cranks. Makes sense:)

There was never any mention of money, just a free gift of cranks if I purchased before a certain date, I made the purchase and was sent a bell. I would be happy to see the email explaining how I would have to pay, please. Anyway, you have to look at yourself in the mirror.

It is really unfortunate that you feel this way after all this. I'll just leave this here ... In your own words - https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/quality-charger.30244/post-226594

This is a hard business and I have been able to put this together with a lot of hard work, and love for biking. As you know, there is a lot more under the covers that I can say / add but that is not how I operate.

I understand that you may want to put me though a public shaming for something I did not do, and that is your prerogative.

I am not going to entertain this further.

Good luck on your biking adventures. I really hope you keep biking - you are a great resource for the community.
