Hellow, I am interested if anyone has had this experience. Yesterday I got my new Stromer out for my first ride. I got three blocks from home, doing 12mph with no assist, suddenly the crank froze solid. I had no time to react, I was thrown from the bike as the crank froze solid. Getting up from the pavenment, I saw the belt was haning, no longer on either pulley. The brakes were not involved and the crank was free after I got up. This is the first crash I have ever had on a bicycle. Can anyone figure out why the crank froze ? the belt must be stretched now ??? The bike is at the shop but they are closed for Monday and Tuesday as their weekend... Appreciate any helpful comments ! ! ! Jim
