New Espin Flow and Sport

Ahh... so it's on the newer 700.

Is the Bafang about the same as the Shengyi? Or is that a Hector question? :)

I don't know how similar those motors are, but I hadn't read anything to scare me off from the Shengyi.

Yes, and the LMT'D is now showing that display as well. Quite recently, the LMT'D said, "APT 500C Full Color LCD Display", nothing about being programmable, because I had specifically checked for that, but now it says, "Programmable KD218 Full Color LCD Display". I confirmed this via an archived copy of of the webpage that I wasn't mis-remembering.

For the recent recipients of the LMT'D, they may all have the older APT 500C. LumpyDog posted a video of his new LMT'D and ThereIsNoTry posted a picture of his, and they both show the older APT 500C, not the programmable KD218 as now shown on the LMT'D product page, today.

Edit: Most people reading about the Espin probably don't care about this, so I'm following up over in the Ride1UP subforum.

You are able to buy the color display separately. Do not know if it is compatible with the 500.

There are 2 color displays, but only one of them shows as being programmable. And the LMT'D appears to have been updated from the old color display to the newer programmable color display since the last shipment based on the new pictures that a couple new owners posted. Nice new feature if the next shipments will have the programmable color LCD. I asked if anyone had feedback on that matter over in the Ride1UP forum. No one has mentioned it before, but it looks like new info.

At least the 500 already included a programmable LCD, even though it's not color.

Can someone verify if the Sport has a sealed cadence sensor? The EBR review said it was not sealed but Espin says that they upgraded it to a sealed sensor.
