New ebike battery recharging

I bought 2 ebikes and need recharging advice on recharging lithium batteries. Bike manual says recharge or top up after each use. Do lithium batteries develop a memory if they are never to go below 50-60% charge. Could this effectively lower the life or capacity of the lithium batteries. I bring this up because Apple told me cellphone battery life /capacity is reduced if they are never allowed to go below 70-80% charge.
