I see Mackinac Island inserted wording in HB-4782 to maintain the ban on motor vehicles to include ebikes.

I have to disagree with some decisions made ! Keeping ebikes off trails unless they get the ok is just plain ridiculous. That is the best part of riding your bike through nice trails to view the scenery. I see no harm in using an ebike anywhere period.

Macinaw island has been prohibiting ebikes. Cops will ticket if they see one. Ferry personnel warn not to take them on island

I tried to contact local chamber of commerce to learn why and advocate for no restriction did not get courtesy of reply. Very shortsided
