New Bike Day!

With all respect, Art, Specialized 2.1 motor is more powerful and torquey than the PW-X2 :) (550 W vs 520 W and 90 Nm vs 80 Nm). Also, Specialized Turbo e-bikes have 100 power levels per each of three presets (and many more features we cannot enjoy with our Trances and puny 11 power levels organised into 5 presets) ;)

I was easily able to smoke Kelvin on the uphill climbs at Riverbend.
Because it was you, not the bike :)

"If there were no Levo, the Trance E+ would have never existed" :)

I have to add @Prairie Dog that e-bike assistance controlling our heart rate is only possible for Turbo e-bikes. Not that our Trances, Stances or Fathoms should be thrown under the bus, no :D Levo is just the standard to which all other e-MTB are matched and compared.

Stefan, the Levo Comp's 2.1 motor and three level assist power modes were no match for the Trance’s Yamaha driven power plant and five levels of assist. I was easily able to smoke Kelvin on the uphill climbs at Riverbend. I’ll post a video soon enough of our ride together. :D
Sometimes it is not necessarily performance alone....more brand loyalty.
Rolex vs Omega

Wow…and to think that I was under the impression that I had the upper hand with the Trance. o_O I'm still stoked about this bike and look forward to getting it out on the trails this summer. I have to admit that the Levo is quite a svelt looking bike! 👍
The Levo is very svelt indeed. It even reduces the rider's weight ... in the wallet area.

PD...how dare you force Stefan to hear that any other (especially his holy grail) bike smoked a Specialized!🤨

Actually, I didn’t want to say this publicly, but I spent an hour or two discussing/examining some in-stock Specialized emtbs at a shop this last weekend. Now that I know they’re so easily smoked, I‘ll look elsewhere!😉

Bosch, Yamaha and Shimano need to try harder to achieve or surpass the performance of the Specialized 2.1 motor 🤣
By the way Dallant, how's the connection of your Bosch display with the smartphone? 😂

Dallant but seriously, I'm very glad to ride Giant Trance E+ Pro. Levo would be too much of bike for me 😊

I have no need/interest in connecting my cell phone to my Allant. I’m a much simpler/ignorant biker than most here. That said, I do have a cheap top tube bag that I can carry it in and see it, should I get a call while riding.

The latest price increase on Levo is just shocking. The EU price went up to the sky....
Everybody complains about insane prices of the 'super' bikes but they keep selling. My theory is a lot of boomers know they don't have all that much time left and figure 'what the heck' the kids will just have to do with a slightly smaller inheritance. And the other contingent is probably young folks who should never have been given such a high credit limit on those cards. The makers of these 'sky's the limit' bikes would be smart to have a fall back position mapped out with affordable bikes. Nobody knows however when market saturation will occur. Economic reality will settle in but not for a couple years probably. Now we are about to enter a huge economic post Covid rebound. After that could get ugly.

So my take from all this is I'm might possibly get away with getting my self a new ebike for my birthday thank for your help😃 oh and nice ride!
