(i posted this on endless sphere but so far: crickets. thought i'd try here, since ya'll have been so helpful to me in the past.)
I bought this Coolrun scooter used the other day. Worked swell at the sellers, but once I got it home, no power given by the throttle. Power is supposed to kick in only after you've gotten a little speed but even then, no love. Can ya'll help me diagnose the problem? I've got a multimeter and little else, but hopefully that or even less is all i'll need.
the motor is: bafang bfswx02 36v 350w. Closest I can come with the throttle is it's like the WUXING L-Faster 250W 350W Electric Bicycle Brushless Motor Controller Thumb Throttle LCD Display and EBS Brake. In my case, it's a twist throttle and there's no brake business.

I believe the controller is at the bottom of the battery. Please to have a look at the pix.
Don't know how I managed to mess the bike up on my way home but i guess i surely did.
Oh -- I just noticed that the photo of the display doesn't show it lighting up, but it does indeed light up. It has three power settings: eco, normal and max; One thing I noticed, and I don't know if it's normal, but the power setting blinks and isn't a steady on, if that makes a different.

(btw/ this scooter can be set so when you ride it, the front wheel bounces up and down. don't think i'll do that but it does make the thing unique, i'd guess. see 58 seconds in at:
