My Specialized Creo’s chain would come off quiet frequently

My Chain would come off quite frequently. I have had the bike for almost 3 years. I have changed the chain yearly. A friend of mine had the same problem and changed his chain ring to a Wolftooth chain ring and it solved his problem . I just bought a new chain and cassette for the bike that I was going to put on after the Summer. I decided to put a new cassette, chain and chain ring on now. I went on the Wolftooth website and they asked me what bike I had. They also asked if I could upload a picture of the chain ring. They then told me what chain ring I needed to order. I have a little over a 100 miles on the new setup. I think it has solved my problem.

Replaced the stock 44t Praxis on my SL 1 with a 40t Wolf Tooth chainring before taking delivery. No issues or visible wear in 1,900 miles. One worn chain replaced in that time.

The Wolf tooth chain ring is an effective solution to this issue on Creo's. There also is a little chain guide for Creo's that helps keep the chain on the chainring. You can google "Creo Chain Guide" to find them. They used to be on Specialized website, but I don't see them today. Performance Bicycle has them in stock. Best of luck!!
