My Radwagon 5 arrived

So are the fronts mounted to the tub lid?
Exactly the rubber mounting straps form a hinge so the tote lid can still open from the back for loading/unloading without have to remove the lights. Sweet.

Worked on the SR Suntour NCX today for another try since the seat post adapter arrived. I reversed the upper seat clamp bar so no more setback and I think it will work for me now. Got a red seat post clamp for giggles too.

Rode to store today with best ride comfort to date. Modded seat post really works nice now. The Cannondale cargowagen neo will be hard pressed to beat this setup but we will see. It is out for delivery today. I do have some plans for it.

I did not like the wireless turn signals so I decided to add these instead

I have started the install still waiting on a few things to compete the wiring.

Finally got the 12v motorcycle turn signals working. The motto if at first you don't succeed try, try, again came into play with this mod. My original plan to use my powerbank with 12v usb booster failed due to the bank shutting off when no load was present. Next I added a dummy load and that failed as well. Next I tried to use the USB-c output on the display and that failed as well shutting down as soon as I turned on the turn signals. Got all the wiring done and into a box mounted where the front basket used to be. Even made a custom graphic for the plain black cover. So now I needed another solution and found this

One of the few power banks that remain on always used for time lapse photography and stuff like cctv cameras and such. Anyway 12 v out is perfect so I ran the power cord back to the rear along the same path as the wire for the rear turn signals and mounted the bank in the tote. Soldered up the plug as with all other connections and shrink wraped the joints. Eureka it works and I took my first ride with them operational today. Super de duper..

Also mounted a tire pump to the lower frame with the existing bottle cage screws. Nice feature of the Radwagon 5 is lots of these frame mounting
points.

I wired up my lights and tailights on my Enduro motorbike with a cheap 12v lion battery, 30 dollars, comes with a charging port and charger.
Not as smooth as yours , but works.

No, the 29 gal tote did not come with the bike. I got it at Walmart under $10 and drilled some holes to match the rear rack and screwed it down to the rack through some ABS sheets for reinforcement. Also used some zip ties for the corners up front. No deadline just enjoyed getting it done for today.
A couple of years ago, using bins and saddlebags, my Abound could hold almost as much as a standard grocery cart filled almost to the brim. I found I didn't need so much volume. The saddlebags positioned weight low but were a hassle to load and unload, and they were in the way of maintenance and repairs. Besides, when I moved the seat back for comfort, stability, and efficient pedaling, it needed support.

The rack came with a floor. For silence, I added a layer of foam flooring. I built a wooden box to support the seat and hold what I typically buy. That leaves most of the rack free to hold some items or lash down others. When I need a bigger box, I secure a 17-gallon Rubbermaid bin.

I buy most of my groceries at 3-week intervals. They wouldn't fit in a 17-gallon bin, but on the roads around here, it wouldn't be safe to pedal 10 miles to the nearest supermarket, anyway. Walmart's delivery fee amounts to about 10%. Besides saving me the trip, it saves me from pushing a cart around a huge store, trying to find what I want.

I like having the lid attached especially when it is windy while loading.

I pay the annual fee for free delivery with Walmart. I still tip the driver though. It's money well spent. All grocery stores are a 30 minute drive away from my home, including Walmart. An hour round trip. And Walmart is also at the base of the mountain. So you also have to drive up about 6000 foot elevation gain.

Walmart is about 20% cheaper than the grocery stores on the mountain, but you have to put up with lousy produce. There are a couple of local markets that are closer, but they don't carry much and are way more expensive. They are essentially convenience stores.

According to Apple Maps, Walmart is 9.9 miles away including 600 feet of climbing. I pay the annual fee, which I guess comes down to about $10 per trip. On top of that, I go with Walmart's recommended tip, which is about 10%. I guess the tip is what drivers are willing to work for. If I tipped less, drivers might walk past my order.

I have that same tote on my grocery getter,..

I've got a bungee cord wrapped around the box that keeps the lids from rattling.
I can over-fill the box with groceries, then stand the lids up, and strap the bungee cord across the top to fold the lids down on top if the groceries to keep stuff from bouncing out of the box.

I can see the Walmart from my house.
I could walk there, but I don't wanna.
That's worse than pedaling. 😁

I don't pedal to get my groceries either.
It's got a proper twist throttle.

I get free shipping from Walmart by spending $35 or more, no fees, no tips needed. Most times it turns out to be next day delivery from store or Fedex.

Nice but it looks different and a bit smaller than the Farmplast XL. I do like to peddle my 2024 cargowagon neo and do use the radwagon 5 throttle from time to time.

I think I've got a large version of your XL?

If XLT271712 means 27"X17"X12" then I've got a LT221512

I made a throttle lock so I can ride no-hands and not pedal. 😁
I've got ~8000 km on my ebike with less than 10 km on the chain and sprockets. 😁
