In fact the other day I was looking at the collection of letters sent to our city council (in Durango CO) a few years ago when they were considering a 1-year test allowing e-bikes on our trails (which until then were prohibited as "motorized vehicles"). The significant majority were essentially, "Hi, I'm old, and my e-bike allows me to maintain my fitness and run errands without getting into a car!" The trial happened and was concluded last September and called a success - e-bikes are now allowed on city trails.

Great video, I'm 80 and ride every day weather permitting. Good for all the old folks who ride, ski, run, walk, swim......whatever.
