Went on my farthest ride this morning.Decided to see if I could make it starting from my house all the way to mt.charleston lodge in Vegas.I never did check to see by vehicle how many miles the ride would be but guessed around 20 miles all up hill?
Well about 2 1/2 hours later I made it to the first lodge before I decided to turn back around with about 44.6 resting volts left in my battery with 18 miles all up hill. The first 7 miles I was in pas 1 then after that till I reached the first lodge I used pas 2. I was trying to conserve as much battery as I could. I roughly had about 5 more miles uphill to go and I’m not sure if if the bike would have made the journey with only 44.6 volts left.
My trek back home thank god was a all downhill reaching speeds of 30+ mph and just the time I pulled into my garage my battery was dead at 42 volts.Took only an hour to get home though. 37 mile ride
