My Kona Dew-e DL arrived a few weeks ago and we have had a couple of substantial snowfalls since. So I've only been out a few days.
I've been a moderate bicycle rider since my late teens and at 68 find I can use a little help. I live in the middle of the U.S. which most people picture as flat. But most Midwestern cities are on major rivers, often with substantial bluffs. My city is on the mighty Missouri. I live in a neighborhood with the word "hill" in it's name. The ends of my rides are always uphill!
I spent a lot of time with the reviews on this site. Several generous posters gave opinions on the bicycle I was considering. Finally I waited for my requested bike to wind it's way through the disrupted supply chain. Here it is and a picture of me on my first chilly and short ride bringing it home from the bike shop.
