Here is a discussion on 'Das-kit'. It might give a little more insight.....

It is also used on the Magnum brand of bikes.
Not certain, but the Das Kit is a very good motor, I have 4000 mi. on my 500w & it just seems to get stronger,
unlike my previous bike.

If you´ve replaced as many as 4 spokes, you should be riding tires with thicker sidewalls & more psi. If
there has been damage to the spoke bores on the motor, thats bad, real bad. More spokes won´t fix
that; it´ll just get worse ´til you´ll need a new motor & whl.
Thanks. I'm running Schwalbe Big Ben tires rated at 35-70psi and run the rear one at 60psi. Maybe I'll bump up to 65psi.

60 psi oughta to be enuff; I´m a big guy & my issue with spokes was bottoming out, & not terrain
related. I´m currently at 70 psi on marathon green guards, not really mtn tires. i´m a general purpose
sorta rider. The thicker sidewalls have made all the difference.
