My wife and I have participated in the study over the past few months. Bosch is a sponsor of the study, and it involves plugging in a dongle to your Intuvia display to record data from your rides. That data is then relayed to the study team using a phone app.
We submitted an application and the study team sent us the dongles. They clip to your handlebars and it plugs into the usb port on the Intuvia. The phone app records your ride and you input the purpose of the ride.
