I went for a ride on my Hydra a couple of days ago after swapping out the front pads. The shudder is 90% gone. Still a tiny bit, but not enough to bother me.
I was going to change the front pads on my UC Pro too, but after going for a long ride on Tuesday I found the brakes worked great. No need for new pads.
