I got tracking on my replacement. Should have it this week. Hopefully it will be reasonably comfortable, but I don't see it replacing my current helmet.

@GuruUno I'm pretty sure you can program the front light to be a blinker with the app, but it's been forever since I looked at it so I could be wrong.

I received mine a couple days ago, though I haven't opened up the box.
The Ultra, unlike their other models, does not have front turn lights.

Today’s update from Lumos:

TLDR summary:

- More Ultra M/L MIPS helmets have been delivered since our last update. Out of a total 19,883 pledges for M/L MIPS & non-MIPS helmets, 17,382 (87.4%) have been fulfilled to backers.

- The remaining 12.6% of backers is largely due to a shipment of 1,405 helmets that has been held at U.S. Customs for inspection and 690 helmets in Europe that has been awaiting a final accessory add-on that was also stuck in shipping.

- The first batch of S & XL helmets has been produced (about 50% of all S & XL helmets) and is being freighted over to the U.S. and Europe.

Will I see my XL MIPS (backed in Spring 2020, promised by November 2020) by calendar year 2021? I have no reason for optimism.

Apparently non-MIPS models are now available for retail purchase.

we have med mips and still nothing. what do you do if you don't get them?

Lumos would say you’re in the 13% yet to be fulfilled. And that they hope to fulfill your pledge soon.

finally got our helmets today. took a little to find the charging port no way to know when it is charged. its cool you can have two remote one helmet. I was two helmets on remote for our tandem. but since only the back lights signal I can have a remote for my wife's helmet on the tandem and mine on my bike.

You can see a small, slight indentation on the button. The light shines from behind it, though it is very faint. Very. Even after the firmware update.

I got notification that UPS had something coming my way from a shipper/company called FULFILMENTCROWD INC. It was en route to my previous address. I updated my address in the "Backer Kit" in July. So I don't know if this seemingly random shipment is the Lumos Ultra or what. Ordered May 2020; might be delivered October 2021. I'm probably done with Kickstarter for the foreseeable.

Anybody recall if their Lumos was shipped via FULFILMENTCROWD INC?

Last week I intervened with UPS and forked over $32 to have them redirect delivery from where I lived in May, 2020 to where I live now. The Ultra would have been delivered to the wrong address on Friday.

Today I got an email from Lumos notifying me that there was a tracking number for my Ultra.

You might wonder why I hadn’t updated my address info in the backer kit when I moved. In fact, that’s one of the first things I did when I got my new address.

The fee for redirecting the shipment nullified any Early Bird savings.

So my tuition is paid. I’ve purchased my last Lumos product, and I’ve supported my last Kickstarter campaign.

Theoretically, the Ultra arrives tomorrow. Not holding my breath.
