Looking for e-roadbike pedelec

As a life long bike lover, now 63, I have decided to indulge myself with a new road bike. Looking for a stealth model, 28 mph assist, carbon frame, decently light weight to be able to pedal freely without power. Is the upcoming specialized Creo my only option in a 28 mph model? I really want to keep the weight under 28 lbs. Any light Ebikemotion 28 mph’s out there?

Since 99% of ebikes weigh more than 28 lbs your not going to get very far.Maybe extend your search to 35 lbs. The thing about ebikes is the motor takes care of the weight. You don't feel it. I tried a search on road bikes and got this. https://electricbikereview.com/category/road/
I'm sure there are some newer models out that Court hasn't reviewed but it's a start.

Well, there’s the carbon Trek Domane+ for $7k (28mph, carbon, 38 lbs), the BMC Alpenchallenge Sport LTD ($6k, 32 lbs, carbon, sexy with a flat bar...but only a Class 1 ebike w motor assist to 20mph), and the Giant Road-E+ Pro ($4650, alum frame, 28mph, 41 lbs).

For me the sweet spot is the Giant. Who cares about saving 3 or 4 lbs on an Ebike? I’d rather save $2350 with the Giant, which by the way, uses a modified Yamaha motor with great reviews (smooth power initiation, more boost than the Bosch) and has a better display.

Not sure where iGO is at with this bike but it is in your weight category:
