Looking ahead to the future purchasing of a quality ebike for commuting and fun all seasons

Just for fun lets play a game and see if anybody can figure out what bike it is. If nobody figures it out over the next few days I'll reveal it. 1st hint it's red and it's "PRO" model comes in blue with 29's
Being a 29er I’m assuming it is a mid drive

would fat bikes make more sense to you?

sounds like you're living in a cold area.
Yes it's cold fat ebikes were on the radar there aren't a lot of real ones to choose from there cost is bit high all things considered. I think we'll see that market improve in the next few years.

What do you mean by cost is a bit too high?
Your budget is $3000.. there are lots of fat ebikes for less than that price, as you know.
What have you seen in that price range for real fat Ebikes? I did already get my bike but...

oh if you already got your bike, maybe it doesn't matter anymore, but here are some examples..

iGo Electric Core Extreme 2.0
Surface 604 Boar
Rad Power RadRover
Himiway Cruiser
Magnum Ranger
M2S All Terrain Scout
NCM Aspen
Juiced RipCurrent S
Rambo Bikes 750
Biktrix Juggernaut
Eunorau FAT HD
Voltbike Yukon 750
FTH Power X2-F Abyss
EccoBike Nashorn
AddMotoR MOTAN
CIVI Bikes Predator

and these are only a few examples... if I look more, I could find more.
while I can't speak for all of those bikes there not really in the class of bike I look for to put it nicely but thats my opinion

I don't now what you mean by it's not in the class you're looking for.

Were you looking to buy an ebike from bigger companies like Trek, Specialized, Giant, Cannondale, etc?

I just don't think some of those bikes are of the qualitly or performance I would want

Hi guys, I'm in the market for a fat-tire 20" Ebike... undecided between the M2S Scout and the Veego 750 (or others I should take a look at)... any suggestions and/or experiences you can share? City/beach riding for the most part. Don't need a foldable option, but not opposed. Thanks in advance!

RadPower. Just make sure you ride one, any one, before you buy one. In fact, ride as many ebikes to test out as you possibly can - will give you a much better idea of what actually fits what you want/need.

one thing I would look at is the the components on bikes regardless what kind of bike your looking at to see what level they are or do they rank at all. Take Shimano components for instance they make everything from non rated junk all the way up to the top of the line. One doesn't need the top of the line but, buying bottom end junk is different then entry level stuff. I realize that some people don't like Shimano just like some people hate ford or chevy or some other brand let be honest both ford & chevy have made some bad and good stuff. So my point take a look what parts make up the bike and there track record as part of your buying decision.
