Nope, I purposely installed it that low to keep the bike (and me!) clean. I am a road warrior, not so much a trail guy, so no issues so far in the 160 miles I have on it. THe only time it was an issue was coming off a street curb, won't do that again.

@Lost I don't understand. Your front fender is much longer than regular fenders. I wasn't referring to your installation. It just look really long to begin with. It covers around 1/2 of your tire. Where did you buy it?

Funny, up until now, I thought They were supposed to be the same, now I am wondering if I got shipped two rears, when they have a front and rear? Weird. Anyway, I like 'em!

In the UK the front fenders, or "mudguards" as they are called over there are traditionally a bit shorter than yours and have a flexible flap extension attached to the bottom so they can deal with curbs and other road roughness, potholes etc without hitting them and the flap still keeps the wetness off the feet.

I am pretty sure @Lost inadvertently received 2 long *rear* fenders, as opposed to 1 short front fender and 1 long rear fender. Looks like it fitted nicely, but dangerously close to the ground. Just be careful going over bumps!

Oh well. almost 200 miles and I still like it. If I have to, I can run through a band saw or dremel.
