I hope they are able to work that new power-based cadence sensor feature into their other ebikes; it sounds like a much better way to implement cadence systems than the speed-based method. I assume torque sensors cost more, so imitating the torque sensor feel to some degree is an interesting way to keep the cost down.

Ride1up does this with their controllers. My Gravelster's pas is much smoother than my Xp lite.
