How goes it! New guy here, and I'm newly wed to the XP 3.0 lol, had it around a week. Also, I'm an e-bike virgin, this my first one. I immediately made up for lost time though, and racked up quite a bit of mileage, man I'm addicted to hopping on this bad girl!
I'm still refining how to ride this thing, and yesterday I toyed with turning off pedal assist (setting 10), and instead used the throttle to assist pedaling as needed. Is that a thing that's commonly done? I must say, I much prefer it to the PAS modes, in that you could feather the assist...although "feather" is a loose term, the throttle seems to go from zero to top speed with little increment. I helped that somewhat by adding a "thumb lever" with a ziptie, seems to offer a little more throttle control.
