Hello,

I'm intrigued by Lectric XP ebike.
How do the owners deal with flat tires on this bike?
I've seen youtube videos on the topic, but it's a bit intimidating.
I live in central New Jersey. Are there any shops that can work on Lectic XP ebike?
Thanks,

Atsushi

Jerimiah has all the answers when it comes to the XP. He does a nice video showing how to fix a flat on the Lectric...

Your local bike shop can support the xp like any other bike. It is like any other bike with the addition of a motor and display. If you have a motor or display issue, contact Lectric for a replacement.

Extra tubes & tires are back in stock @Lectric eBikes. For how long, who knows. Also, Tannus Armour has an insert in 2 different sizes. Both should fit the XP as the listed sizes are 20x3.2-4 & 20x4-4.8 if anyone really needs that much puncture protection. I always choose to be safe than sorry, however these Tannus inserts are a little pricey as they cost $145 for a pair including the downsized tubes. For that price you could buy a complete replacement set of tires & tubes from a number of companies including Lectric, Kenda, or Vee Tire. (My XP is currently stuck at customs, so probably won't ship until next week.) I've been researching ALOT about what EBR users have picked up as far as accessories and have gotten some great ideas from Jeremiah's videos. Can't wait!

Just buy yourself some Slime and apply it liberally into your tires. Haven't had a flat since I became a Slime monster...

Don't fixate on flats or any other problems. First off, they are few and far between. Next solving them yourself isn't difficult at all and like was said previously any bike shop does those kinds of jobs on all bikes - electric or not. A flat-tire is just a flat tire. Something easily repaired and on you go.

I've ridden my eBikes about 1400 miles this past year and flat tires? I haven't had any.

Don't let fears stop you from taking the next step.
