Perhaps because the bike is a little lighter and has slightly less rolling resistance they figured they could use the smaller battery to keep the cost low.

The battery? Yes they are Samsung cells. They 'say' that there is virtually no difference when benchmarked w/ LG's 10.4. Also, it was always said that customers may receive either LG or Samsung cells in the past. I'm guessing they would've just decided to have went w/ the Samsung exclusively on the 2.0.

Just saw the video.

Looks good. I like the 3" tires and added bosses/IP65.

Paint looks same to me but whatever. It would be nice if they added bold colors or... stickers to allow you to customize your own.

Can't wait for those first reviews.

I'm thinking if the 2.0 would've been available @ time of purchase & wouldn't have added any extra 'time to ship' onto my wait time. I would have liked to have had the 2.0. I changed my initial impression once getting a chance to see some reviews from a trusted source. Not bad. I am, however, very content w/ my OG XP.

If they offered it free to me I'd still prefer the fat tire XP.
