Lectric Trike Xp feedback requested

Hi- I have been looking at a backup trike to my addmotor and ran across this brand. I am seeking some feedback on these two things: I was concerned when I saw two things. One some other members comments on their bearings going out. We have fairly bumpy and concave asphalt roads in my neighborhood. Secondly, I was curious about the 500w motor power for hills. We have a number of short steep hills around here that my 750w does great on. ( I am a 150#) Thanks in advance!

I've had my Lectric XP Trike since last year, mainly it's been used by my in-laws (in their 80's) to scoot around and get some sun.
It does what it's meant for: low speed, compact and just get-on-&-ride vehicle.
Mine didn't have any issues with the wheel bearings, fenders were little bent during shipping, but other than that it's been trouble free.
The trike does have different power assist levels, can get up decent hills as long as are able to pedal a bit.
If not the throttle can only get you to certain top speed.
Just remember, trike doesn't ride like a bike, trike are designed to go slow.
By having a higher power output (750w) doesn't really help if you're looking for top speed and the trike becomes unstable.

Bought a trike in March and have yet to get any riding in for 2025. After just 5 miles the rear bearings started making noise. After many emails back and forth sending pictures and videos they told me to take it to a partner shop for repair. The shop could not fix it and told me Lectric would replace the trike and shop would send the original back. After weeks of waiting I visited shop expecting to see my new trike. Instead my original was still on the floor waiting to be sent back. The shop owner told me to contact Lectric for an update but they do not answer the phone even during business hours. Not sure where all of the glowering reviews come from. Certainly not from me!
Uh oh, I hope that’s not sign that Lectric is having trouble. They’ve expanded and sold a lot of bikes in the last 3 years or so… Lectric bought the rights to Juiced bikes, and I’m hoping that they can revive the brand. Maybe they’ve taken on too much? I don’t want to start any rumors though.

That’s a shame, @John49… I hope you get squared away by the bike shop you brought it to. I don’t know; if they’re telling the truth that they’re not answering the phone, that’s a bad sign. Oy.
