Lectric 2.0 step-thru battery question

How can you tell what brand battery you have? Thanks

Carefully remove the battery cover and look at the name on the individual cells. I would argue against it as you will be risking damage if you don't know what you are doing.
The batteries used by Lectric are all good quality cells with only slight differences. One has a slightly lower capacity but has a slightly longer life.
One will last maybe a month or two longer while the other might get you an additional 1-3 miles further out of 20-40 miles (depends on the PAS level). Not a big enough difference in my opinion to get worked up over.

Umm, unless I'm totally not understanding the question, my battery has a sticker on the outside of the battery casing that says it's a Samsung.

The one I got with the bike has no brand name on it anywhere

This was the battery for my original Lectric and it shows LG. My present 2.0 Step-thru has a similar sticker but says Samsung.
