Lack Of Communication!

I ordered a bike from Juiced Bikes 3 months ago for my son and was told it would be 3 weeks. I have been patient and checking in with them weekly but I keep getting lied to about it. I have been told multiple times that the bike was in the warehouse and would be shipping out within a few days, but it never happens. Now I have been told that their shipping company has the bikes but won't give them any answers on when it will be shipped out. Am I supposed to believe that their vendor won't answer their questions? When I was told that today, I asked why the vendor hadn't been fired and the person wouldn't answer. I feel like management is putting their customer service people in a horrible position and throwing them under the bus by having them tell these ridiculous excuses to customers. meanwhile, their website says that they ship bikes within 3-4 days, if I remember correctly. Does anyone have any advice for me? I don't want to cancel the order. I just want the truth and I want the bike!

Hope you used a CC and you can dispute the charge. I would have done that right after the 3 weeks went by.

Yeah, it would be really easy to do that but my son did a lot of research and really wants this bike, if possible.

I have an update though. I got an email from a different person telling me that there is a dispute with the shipping company and they are hoping to resolve it soon and there is no timeframe for delivery until it is resolved. I'm speculating, but that's telling me that they probably owe the shipping company a lot of money and the shipping company is holding the inventory for ransom unit they get paid.

Understood but if you wait too long you loose the leverage to do a dispute. Might want to check because you might get burned on this deal. I have no patience with the retailers games nowadays. They should skip this shipping company and get you the bike directly. Or is this one of them companies that has no inventory and just drop ships everything.

Good Luck.

You in contact with any of these people yet?

This is sad to hear. I wonder if their bikes were in one of the containers stolen recently and the dispute is about who will pay for the lost shipment. They are out of stock on a lot of bikes, I wonder if this is related. I really hope they get this resolved.

I don't think it has anything to do with a stolen container. I think it has to do with Juiced Bikes owing the shipping company a bunch of money and the shipping company is refusing to ship any bikes until they get paid. I also saw a post where someone knew an employee there and that Juiced is losing a lot of money because of cheaper bikes out there. That concerns me because, if they go out of business, there really is no warranty on the brand new bike that we all buy.

Yes, I'm a bit worried about Juiced if they don't adjust their pricing soon. I like their bikes, but I can see where the market is still price sensitive and everyone and their dog moved into the fat tire market, as well as the scooter style. Their Jet Pro looks interesting, but price I think is holding it back. I'm hoping they find a solution which is not to decrease the quality of their bikes along with price. Unfortunately my preferences don't align with the majority of the market it seems. I have over 5K just in Juiced batteries another 5K+ in their bikes. I have a few other bikes as well, but would hate to have Juiced downsize much or go out of business. I'd like to see a slightly smaller version of the RipCurrent S with better components, but can they produce it at a price where more than me would want to buy it? If they don't pay their suppliers/contractors that can have a very long lasting effect on them.

I like the Jet Pro, but I don't need another 20" wheel ebike. I'd be more interested in an updated RipCurrent, or a new design with 3-3.5" tires, lighter weight, battery compatible, that is still commuter or bike-packing oriented.
