Key Security

So, we just got our 2 XP2.0's. Was wondering how folks felt about the security of the keys? I saw some fellow RV'ers who had the extra key dangling down and thought that was super risky. I separated our keys and added a 6 inch cable key ring and a mini S biner and secured them to the cable guide welded to the down tube. Works on my regular frame and the wife's step through. In a rush, but will add some pics later.

I like keeping a key with me, but it's rarely used. For security purposes, mine are buried in the wiring harness and secured there with a Velcro strap.

I can remove the key from my bike once it is turned on. I keep it on a key ring in my pocket or bike bag. I also keep spare keys in my vehicle and at home just in case.

Yeah, me too. That's not the way the XP2.0's keys work?

Mine doesn't seem to. I may be missing something, but it works like a traditional car or motorcycle to me. Turn the key on and it won't come out. Only way to remove it is turn it off. Which model do you guys have?
