November Fifth was a wild day in my town. A guy accused of a domestic problem was spotted at a place where patrician displays are not allowed and then a pull-over was attempted by a Sherriff in a unincorporated area. He drove his SUV into town at high speed, smashing cars. All the cops went south in the middle of town at a bit after noon. Then the helicopters arrived directly overhead. Then all the cops, maybe twelve, went north in the middle of town at highspeed. Then the helicopters moved to the south. Police were then racing everywhere. He got trapped in a dead end, smashed cop cars and drove into the tidal river's Marina. He then swam mostly naked and jumped into a kayak using a broom as a paddle. That overturned so he swam for about two hours being swept out with the tide and wind. A low helicopter blasted him with air and boats of cops surrounded him and captured him. Much of it is on video. It offered a much needed distraction for the day.

The man captured at Petaluma Marina had a warrant issued for him over the weekend for alleged domestic violence and threats with weapons, police said.

They still haven't found you?? I don't understand. We told them exactly where to go. But only under threat of taking our bikes, of course.
