Guinness makes the 0.0 version for Ireland. I really enjoyed it on our 2024 trip, me being the driver.

All the best with the elections. The recent Ukrainian asymmetric success could have an influence. By Russian River do you mean Pliny? People stand in line for that one for its release each year. Here is an old article about it.
Oh, about the Russian River. The southern most part of the Russian Empire was Fort Ross (then Fort Russ) on the Sonoma Coast. Just inland was the northern most fort of the Spanish/Mexican Empire, the town of Sonoma. They traded. Now people take large truck inner tubes down the river to a place called Jenner. Which is beautiful with epic rides.

Does Harp make a 0%? Nothing like a black and tan without the calories!
You certainly must have heard of Kvass, a fermented bread beverage of all our Eastern neighbours. I wondered how Guinness 0.0% would taste: a way better! A lot of malt and rich flavour, nothing like Kvass!
Unfortunately, you cannot expect a Stout without sugars ;)

I've lived in the same house about a mile from the Russian River pub in Santa Rosa since 1984 so was very much aware when they came on the scene in 1997 when it was at Korbel, (it was good), and then they moved nearby in Santa Rosa in 2004. I thought they were not as good and the brewery was way too loud so rarely went.

Then the Pliny the Younger insanity started so I tried it a few time, mostly without waiting due to "connections" and while the first time it was very good, every other time was just OK.

I prefer other local breweries and I still think nothing beats UK or EU beer at the source.

What beer.
Pretty much any local beer I've had in a UK pub or in an EU tavern has been lights out excellent.

Photos are from AEgir Brewpub in Flam Norway, the Philharmonic Dining Room in Liverpool, Bistro De Pompe in Bruge, Belgium (I went to High School in Belgium), the Duvelium in Bruges, pub in Lewes UK,

I'm in some of the pics as is my brother in law, (and our wives who are sisters) and lastly my eccentric cousin in the UK.

Went to boarding school with him in the 60s when we were kids as my parents living in Colombia thought they'd end up back in the UK and their two eldest boys should get a "proper" English education.

Disaster.

I have been waiting months for a bike to be made. And then there were delays on getting the GRX gravel brakes to the factory. It was supposed to be here yesterday by 5:00 PM but was in Fresno, half the state away, at 2 AM this morning.

Here is its path: STRATFORD UPON AVON GB; ATHERSTONE GB; RIDGMONT GB; FELTHAM GB; PHILADELPHIA, PA; MEMPHIS, TN; LAWTON, OK; LUBBOCK, TX; ALBUQUERQUE, NM; FRESNO, CA.

Next will be Windsor, then out for delivery. What is weird is I looked at a map and Windsor is 90 miles from Stratford-Upon-Avon! The bike will have so many miles on it, that by the time it gets here I will have to toss it in the ash bin.
