My deepest apologies, gionnirocket, if my vocabulary intimidates you. I don't run around looking for big words to force people who don't normally use them to cower in awe. They aren't big words to me. They're just part of my vocabulary. I wasn't hiding behind anything or trying to insult anyone. Honestly.

As for swearing at people who don't agree with me, I can slice and dice a dunce in very graphic Punjabi* cusswords, but it would be pearls before swine. Have you ever found cussing out a Trumper to change their mind either? I doubt it. But that's another discussion.

(I don't actually speak Punjabi, but we don't have swearwords in Urdu - - we borrow them from Punjabi. Fact.)
Intimidates me? You truly are obtuse.
It's more.. that when in Rome.

Farewell to yet another thread where people start out trying to discuss an important issue, but then someone gets their knickers in a twist about something someone else says (or the vocabulary someone else uses to say something) and derails the discussion with personal insults.

This discussion was interesting and thought-provoking for the couple of days it lasted before heading south - adios amigos.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says he’s open for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Israel, but only if there is a cease-fire in place.

Offenders blocked from where? Banned from the forum?
It's a moderation burden and tough for small teams, but many larger sites with broader topic sets will define and post the rules around respectful language and treatment of participants, and then use a combination of warnings, temporary account suspensions, and or permanent closures. A.k.a ye ole Ban Hammer!

I think she was making the point that you want freedoms of speech but then when you don’t like the content you want to ban.. doesn’t make sense..

The world is at war .
The world is on a brink of world war iii becoming World War III .
Every time I type world war iii my computer wants to type World War III .

Yes. You can read their contribution to the Forums. Very little on e-bikes.
Question for you. Are things in Poland getting crazy? Can you still bike around the country OK? What I'm hearing on public radio is that refugees are quickly getting sent out to other places, where many have contacts.

I thought and was incorrect that there would be way less cars on the road here what with gas prices jumping up. I had to wait for 4 cars to go by before I could turn onto a road.

A sad mess all around .. hope those in the areas around the problem are able to stay safe and out of harms way while Putin decides how much this is costing and hopefully it get to high and he comes to his senses. From what I have read he isn’t doing to well but as people have labeled it misinformation .. no telling what is true and what is not.

Let us carry on.

It's not World War 3. We need a cease fire so we can replenish the Ukraine with more shoulder fired missiles. If that doesn't work German, US, UK, and NATO tanks will engage in battle.

It's funny watching tik tok shorts video of Russian Tanks getting killed and gun turrets completely coming off their tanks.
ww iii ?

Hold the word Orbit on the new screen. See what happens.
The source cited recent statements by Zelensky that he is willing to give up on Ukraine’s attempt to join NATO, and Russia no longer demanding a full demilitarization of Ukraine- which the source said shows that they “aren’t trying to bring Ukraine to its knees” – as an indication that Ukraine and Russia are moving gradually in the direction of an agreement.
