I went to turn on my Tero yesterday (7 month old, 2.5k mile, 80+ charge cycles) and found it non-responsive. I saw it charge upto 100% the night before so it wasn't out of juice. The battery was basically kaput - completely non-responsive.
I took the bike to my nearest Spec store and the tech confirmed the battery was a write off. He said he'd open a case and get me a new battery as quick as possible. Before I left the store, he came back over to me and said they would give me a battery from one of their new stock bikes and then just replace it when they get the new one from Spec. I left with the brand new battery and was even able to do my ride for the day.
So props to Certini Birmingham for handling that the way they did.
