So I still have my RadRunner 2 sitting in the garage. A co-worker called me and asked if I had any ebikes for sale because he knows I'm into them. I tell him yes, I have a RadRunner 2 for sale, and I'd like $400 but would take $200. He said a guy on the production floor was looking for a ebike so we connected via 3 way conference. I start describing said RadRunner 2 with the following:
Reliable and simple.
All the needed accessories already installed. Basket, cafe lock, passenger kit.
Will go around 20 miles on throttle only before you have to start to worry.
Will hit 20mph pretty quick.
And the guy interested goes "20mph is slow, it doesn't go faster?" and "Does it come with a extra battery?". I said you can speed it up at your own risk as there's many controller replacements and that extra batteries are $500 from Rad. He wasn't interested anymore. I told him to go on Amazon and order one thru them, and that Amazon only sells safe products so he can charge it in his apartment!
I hate stupid Amazon kids who have no idea about quality versus price. I mean my Rad isn't a high end ebike but its far from a no-name Amazon death trap. Wonder what else these Amazon kids expect for cheap prices?
