Yes, it appears most people on here as well as battery manufacturers promote the idea of maintaining a charge between 20%-80% to maximize battery life. But drifting outside that range on occasion I'm sure would have a minimal effect on battery life. And at least in the case of Bosch, their user manual instructs you to *fully* charge the battery before first use. Perhaps this is directly related to the concern that Nelson raises - that the cells may become unbalanced if the battery sits for an extended period of time.
