Hey Members,
If unfortunately, you are in a bad crash, would this be you?
More concerned about injuries to your bike than injuries to yourself?
I can so relate!!

So today I took Sport out for a neighbor hood ride and then another 10 miles or so touring Palm Springs. All bike paths and sidewalks. At a 3 way stop that I have navigated many times I was making a left after slowing down but not stopping. An SUV ran the stop sign to my right and missed me by 6 inches. He was going pretty fast and only sheer luck and a quick, hard veer to the left by me avoided a disaster. It was a dumb mistake on my part. If he would have hit me, I was just as at fault as he was. Lesson learned-especially with an ebike. I can get back up to speed in a flash...

I can remember my recent Levo SL demo ride during which I had to do an emergency braking and flew over the bars. It was a controlled crash and totally nothing bad happened to me.

One of FB friends commented on my report:
'You seemed to be totally uninterested what happened to your e-bike?!' to which I replied:
'It was not my e-bike' :D

I was ridding at about 20 and signaling to make a left, slowed down enough to make the turn into a driveway today when a truck passed me from behind me on my left. Would he do that to a car, school bus, or big rig?

Healthcare isn't free. Paid for by someone else.
Paid for by everyone, but hey my bad, I have a local forum open on the next tab, posted to what I thought was a local crowd.
lets agree to differ perhaps and get back to bike fun, flame me in a pm if freedom demands it..

When you've crashed far from home. and you can get up, it does matter if the bike still works. Hate to walk home.
