I want to get rid of my plastic chain gaurd but I cant find the disc to replace it.

I finally go the tools to take the cranks and the chainring nut off but when I finally got the guard replacement I find it is not a large enough diameter and it hits the chain so it needs a spacer too. I cant find any of the
chain ring guards but this and a smaller one

well I found the only problem was I did not tighten the nut enough. it all works now. I went with a 20t chainring so I have

a bit more on the low end. it adds a bit more chain noise though.
