I have a 2019 Nevo GH single battery PowerTube integrated battery.
If you remove the battery, you can see two holes that go all the way through the top side of the down tube. These holes go all the way through the down tube and are covered with the black tape on the outside of down tube.
I suspect these holes are for mounting the second battery if you chose this option. These two holes also have the same spacing as a standard water bottle cage mount. I'd like to mount a water bottle cage on the down tube using these two holes but they do not have any any nut or threaded insert in them.
Anyone have any idea what I could install on the inside as a permanent threaded nut? I have to be careful as I've already found out the hard way that it is very easy to drop a screw or nut down inside the down tube. I tried to thread a screw in from the inside just to see if was threaded and dropped the screw down inside the down tube. I was lucky enough to retrieve this dropped screw with a magnet, but I might not be so lucky if it happens again.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
