Well Guys,
I tried a bike tube for sway control......with 50#'s of weight, at the rear of the basket, as close as possible to the rear wheels, (1st test for the worst towing scenario for the most sway inducing results).
It does work, now I have to adjust the tension to get the proper sway reducing results.
4 wraps on one side and 5 wraps (different spaced bars), I'll add another wrap.
I used a 16" tube, I need to get a narrow road type tube, longer for more uniform wraps, for/on both arms, for better sway adjustments control.

For an easy way to see the tension on each arm, lay a straight section of rod/pipe down the center of the trailers length, temporary tape in place to hold it there.
Take the fish scale that goes at to least 20 #'s pull, tie a cord to the end of the bike arm arms, (thru the bobbin locking arm spots), pull the arm towards the straight edge, (about the same distance as when attached to the bike bobbins, for the arm spacing).
Read the poundage from the fish scale, (the inner tube wraps tends to pull the bike attachment arms outwards), repeat on the other side and adjust the wraps to get the same pull readings per side, and the twitchy trailer sway is controlled when hauling the load.
Don't cut off the excess tubing until you are finished testing.........Don't ask..............lol
More testing ongoing...........
Tia
