As my recommendation don't buy any ebike which the company doesn't support with parts ... Buy only from good support profiles ..

Hello Jaseer,

It looks like we may have the exact same problem with the Volta which, as Iā€™m sure you know by now, has no replacement parts available. I was able to trace the failure down to one of the components on the board (switching voltage regulator part number ā€œMP4560DN-LF-Zā€ which can be sourced at most large online electronic suppliers). If you look at your board where the gps antenna wires meet, it looks as if you have a burn mark that indicates the same failure. If you are comfortable with soldering, it should be a simple process to swap it out. Hopefully this will get you back on the road. Let me know if it works for you and good luck!

Hi Da-mone ,

You are correct , I replaced that voltage regulator IC & a shorted Diode & ASI Controller to make it working ,

Do you have any idea about GPS Tracker SMS commands for this ??? If you know please share it to me ..

Hi Jaseer,

Glad to hear that you got it working again. Unfortunately, I have yet to play with the SMS commands. Iā€™ll let you know if I get around to using them.

Hi Damone and Jaseer I have 9 of these Volta ebikes I purchased off Kickstarter and they worked well for a while then just died
pretty much one by one except for 3 and now thanks to you guys I now know why, do you have any suggestions of how best to rewire these bikes so they are simpler to operate I have one going with larger removable battery retro fitted and could do this to them all but would like to to get away from all the GPS and Phone connection stuff any suggestions on systems would be much appreciated
Thanks
Wheels to you

Where is this board on the bike? I have the same problem, but I'd like to get the board out without damaging a bike.

Hi,
this seems to be the only blog with information about this bike. I have the same problem, the bike seems dead.
I have the same question as @brandonshults01, how do you access the board on the bike?
I'm trying to disassemble the bike but I haven't found any instructions online.

@Jaseer @Damone @RustysBikeHire

Thank you.

Hi
GPS Board is located inside Steam , where the cable liner is going , there is 2 part one for cable liner & other for the GPS control board .
