Help identifying this type of charging connector?

Just trying to find out if this is some sort of proprietary connection or a standard one and, if so, what kind.

That is what I have been told, just trying to verify if that is really the case.

It does sort of look like a Rosenburger, but this connection is a typical male/female connection, not magnetic.

It looks like the connector for my Bulls that came with BMZ batttery and charger. Google BMZ Ebike batteries or Rosenberger magnetic connectors you may find a match.

It does appear to be a match. Now, to try and find a charger that uses the same connector that isn't $150!

That is something I am considering, just trying to confirm if the smaller pin is used for plug stability or has some other function, like monitoring charging temps. I've reached out to the bike manufacturer on this.

If you can share a clear photo of the plug and the port on the bike, someone here might recognize it right away. Many chargers that look proprietary actually match common barrel or GX styles, but the measurements matter a lot. Anyone else see similar connectors on newer models lately?

p.s. I’d check pin count and shape first; most e‑bikes use 2‑pin or 3‑pin DC barrel plugs. If yours doesn’t match common sizes, it’s probably a brand‑specific connector.
