I have been lurking in the background for about a month, since buying an Ecotric 20” Fat Folder. I happened upon this bike at a local scooter dealer. My main reason to buy was the portability of this bike because I could easily put it in the trunk of my car and take the bike with me. So far, I added the front suspension fork, rear rack, 11-28 freewheel, 170mm 52T crankset, Handy mirrors, Fooker pedals and a Streamline saddle off one of my other bikes.

After 400 miles, I do enjoy the heck out of riding this little fatty. I look forward to reading about your mods to your bikes and for sharing your technical knowledge about eBikes.

I electrified my yuba bodaboda 1/18 after struggling 6 hours into an 18 mph headwind to get home 26 miles. I use a front hub motor. It doesn't drag when I pedal it unpowered, and only weighs about 7 lb. I've got about 9000 miles since electrification. 4th hub motor, 2nd controller, 4th throttle, original Luna battery. Battery mount, controller mount, extender rear rack, are all diy. Seat is a uno 280 mm wide. Frame is ultra short since my pants inseam is only 28". Yuba has conveniently deleted that model, every bike rider should have taken their human growth hormone (which hit the market when I was >21).
