Hello All!

Already see some people I know! Glad to see your here Tom Jaz! I've been following the ebike scene for awhile but just really got into it in the last year or so. I have built several bikes already, some of them are pictured below. I have been an electronics engineer for 30+ years and a cyclist for 50+, finally combined my two passions into the most fun I've ever had! Even after more than a year and several builds, I still have an E-grin from ear to ear!

I am curious on the blue ebike, how is the rack holding up? I saw another ebiker with similar rack broke at the clamp site. I think it can be improved by having a vertical support such as this;

or you can try this rack that is rated at 13 pounds;

So far the rack is holding up fine. So Far! Time will tell! That is a Lyen 24 FET controller and only weighs about 3lbs. The black box is a travelers soap box I used to contain all wiring connections and weatherize them.

Welcome to the forum! You have some pretty cool builds. I can tell you take pride in your work!

I had a background in tech and always loved bikes. Ebikes were the perfect mashup of those passions.
