Ground Clearance

Love my Supercharger GX especially the Bosch Performance CX motor, its twin batteries and the looks but don't care much for its lack of ground clearance.

Sounds like you're riding a "touring" hybrid on technical trails - it's not designed for that. Still, you could try shorter crank arms - stocked with 170s, try 160s.

No technical trails but when you forget to stop pedaling around a sharp corner and not maintaining a 12 and 6 o'clock positions. If you change the crank arms, you would also need to update the software accordingly involving a trip to your nearest dealer which in my case is 250 miles away. Also, shorter cranks don't always suit everyone including me.

After several pedal strikes with both my 2018 and 2019 Homages, I have learned not to pedal through the turns and always keep the foot/pedal on the outside of the turn at 6 o'clock. The full suspension can be partly to blame for this. Be sure you have no more than 20% sag on your suspension.

When my Homage was shod with Schwalbe Marathon Plus MTBs (57-584) and with Pedaling Innovations Catalyst pedals I had far too many pedal strikes.

For the last few months I've been riding the stock Rock Razors (60–584) and conventional MTB pedals – fewer strikes.
