Picked up today, I insisted she ride it :( so that I don't get blasted by Onimaru )
So far, so good, headed to the trails on Sunday for first impressions.
Hilltop (LBS) was exceptional in setting up for delivery.

It is gorgeous! I like these handlebars way better than the ones in the on-line photos as they don't have that crazy rise.

Thanks,
Could you by any chance measure the height between ground and middle of Grip when bike is straight?
And do you know if there are spacers on stem/handlebar that would allow lowering the handlebar if needed?

Is this what you need?

Thank you,

45" grip height on the medium frame means it should be about 44" on the small, Somewhere between an Homage (45) and a Nevo 3 (42.5)

Now it looks like there is a 1" separate part below the handlebar, and I wonder if that is a spacer that could be removed.
I send a message to Specialized on there website about it, but they never answered....

it’s called out as a “spacer” (part F) and the bolt through the head cap looks long enough to accommodate that much variation in length…. no guarantees. it’s a very custom assembly 😅

My bad, I had actually downloaded the manual to check other things, and managed to miss that
Thanks!

I would LOVE to use that exact Como handlebar setup on a Vado 5.0.
Perfect, if you could get the parts.

I ordered mine today, it'll be here in a week.
If so inclined, I can "experiment" with the handlebars on a Vado....
Called Rider Care (35 min hold time), they said the only way to get the handlebars and associated hardware for a Como 5.0 is a warranty repair, dealers cannot get the part(s) for any other intended purposes.
Oh well......

Wow! I love the new look. I have a Como 5 that I bought in July 2020 and I definitely prefer the design of your wife's. The battery is difficult to access on mine because of the downtube (see photo). Though I do love my Como. It is a great car replacement!
