Gonna try my commute again!

I'm gonna get back to my 14 mile commute each way to work. I'll be battling 2 terrible intersections, passing 2 sketchy neighborhoods and all the related stupid stuff (bad drivers) but overall the ride is rather pleasant. I need to replace my helmet though! My Nutcase is worn out and needs to be replaced. Either going to use my XP and/or the Xpedition. I need to loose some weight and get some flexibility back.

I do have some cold weather gear so cold won't be an issue. I also have some added lights for night riding, plus my "always carry" mace container(s). I used to enjoy riding to work on the RadRunner 1 when I had it. Have no real reason why I stopped though.....

If I take to this commute again I'm going to set myself a mile goal, and if I meet this goal I'll treat myself to a better ebike just for work commutes.

Good luck to you! That’s a pretty long commute at 14 mile. When I’m struggling to ride, I start with a goal of just one day per week and usually a Thursday or Friday to get rolling again and that usually helps me get back in the groove.
