Gazelle T10+ Standover Height

The listed standover height for the medium size (53 cm) high step bike is listed as 864 mm or 33 inches. This seem awfully high for a medium frame bike... Does anyone have any experience/issues with standover height on this bike?

I have the mid step, and can barely clear that with care. I have a 33” inseam and an 5’8”. There is no way I could safely dismount and mount the high step while stopped in traffic. Stay away! Plus, I wanted to mount a kinect seat post but the seatpost height put that option out of the question

Yes, check it as it's high. I lean it when I stop, and I've got the mid step in medium. 31ish inseem and 5'11". That said, I find it perfectly safe, just took some getting used to.

I'm trying to figure out what frame to buy, and find this so confusing. The sizing page on the Gazelle site (https://www.gazellebikes.com/en-gb/service/frame-size) would put me in a 57 frame, based either on my inseam (87 cm) or my height (182 cm). I can't find the standover height for the high steps, nor the stack and reach that would let me compare it to bikes I've ridden. The only, incomplete, info I can find is here: https://www.gazellebikes.com/en-us/service/frame-size.

I'd prefer the high-step, but not if it's as tall as you say. Help!
