Gazelle Grenoble C8 Gear change slippage

I have had my Grenoble fo about a month and while I think the bike is a splendid mode of travel I notice every now and again the gear will slip, it doe not matter which gear I am in. I thought initially it was me I looked at the instructions which tell me to stop peddling momentarily before applying pressure after gear change and for the most part this works but then whether it is a gear change and occasionally when I change up the modes e.g. from ECO to any of the other modes that the gear will stutter missing the engagement once sometimes twice before it sits right. Occasionally it will do it without a change of gear or mode usually when I am putting some torque on it with an effort at the beginning of a hill for example. Usually, the skip takes place after I have been cycling for a while but not always. Do others have these issues and can anyone advise their thoughts on gear and mode change to help this or should I be getting the cycle looked at mechanically? Thanks for your help!

The only time I have had it happen with my Gazelle Arroyo (also using the Shimano Nexus 8) is if I accidentally put torque on the crank while shifting. Since it is happening at other times on your Grenoble, I am guessing you need a cable adjustment in the shifter.

Thank you Alan!

There is a little plastic window on the hub, near where the sprocket is. You will see two yellow marks. Those marks need to align with each other when in gear 4. Turn the cable adjuster on the shifter until the marks meet.

Looking at a photo of your bike, it looks like you may need to remove some of the chain guard in order to see the window. Assuming you bought it locally the shop would likely adjust it for you free of charge.
