Gates Belt Tension Tool

I have had bad luck getting any sort of consistent readings from the Android app for checking the belt tension. Has anyone bought a tensioning tool? I seem to remember a post somewhere. Anyway, there seem to be a bunch of different ones available. If you bought one, which did you buy and where did you get it?

Krikit (Gates) with low of 30lb (two hash marks below an engraved 50). $16 on eBay IIRC. Worked well.

There is something similar on Amazon for about $15, the Gates 91107 Krikit, which says it is for cars. Looks the same. The official Gates Carbon belt tool for bicycles is $65 on Amazon. That is the one Priority recommends. Looks nearly identical to the 91107.

I got the car one — only difference is that the 30 is not explicitly stamped, just a hash mark. I remember passing on the “official” one. if you’re near DC, you can have mine — no longer need it. Works fine for our needs.
