And I'll continue to parrafin wax/oil my chain as I've done for years.
Chain life is adequate for my ridestyle and spotless drivetrain and chainstay is worth the effort.

I don't ever do that. My chain is black with oil & dirt. I wear a binder clip on my pants cuff.
Now there are disposable gloves to work on the chain with!
