Old Fart At Play

Finally went on my first short camping tour with my Allant+ 8. I've added a tubus tara rack to the front, and a Topeak super tourist DX (disc) rack to the rear with a topeak rack pack. With these I can easily carry the 25kg that I normally take when camping.
The bike was solid as a rock at all speeds, and the brakes were still very effective with the extra weight.
For those interested in range, I was getting 130km a day on the flat (< 500m of ascent in a day), and around 90km a day when hilly (around 1000m of ascent). I was using 100% eco on the flat, and 94% eco 6% btour on hilly.
It really does make an excellent touring bike.
